Padgett Club Lambs started as a Supervised Agricultural Experience Program for FFA back in the early nineties. After almost twenty years of chasing the black face trends we made the decision to focus solely on raising Southdowns with emphasis on Southdown market lambs. The opportunity in the late spring of 2010 to purchase a group of Southdowns out of Texas from TNT Club Lambs made this happen. We purchased nineteen aged ewes, six ewe lambs and a stud buck to combine with the five head we already had. The new ewes are deep in Cole, Robinson, Branham and Oldenburg genetics and are built different than most Downers in this part of the country. These ewes offer tremendous base width and power and when matched with the size and touch of the Domino buck, it is very impressive and exciting. We look forward to the upcoming show season and invite you to stop by the farm to take a look.
